Moorpark Neighborhood Schools

Children of Moorpark residents attend schools in the Moorpark Unified School District. Several of its schools receive excellent scores of eight or nine out of 10 by the school ranking website GreatSchools.org, including Walnut Canyon and Mountain Meadows Elementary Schools, Mesa Verde Middle, and Moorpark High School. Private schools serving the area include Stoneridge Preparatory School and Grace Bible Church.

Moorpark College is a community college offering about 1,500 classes per semester.
