The Summit

The Summit is a gated and guarded neighborhood near the Beverly Hills suburb. At the intersection of Coldwater Canyon Drive and Mulholland Drive, this private residential area of around 80 residences is flanked by three beautiful California parks. While the neighborhood is in Los Angeles, it's within the Beverly Hills Post Office district, which means the addresses here have the familiar 90210 zip code.

Depending on the square footage and other home features, prices in The Summit will range from just under $3 million to upwards of $4 million and more. The average home size in this gorgeous, tight-knit community is between 4,000 and 8,000 square feet. 

Bowmont Estates

Bowmont Estates is a tight-knit community within the Beverly Hills Post Office district, located north of Beverly Hills and south of Mulholland Drive. The houses here are massive estate homes that date back to the 1920s through the 1960s, with the bulk of them constructed in the 1940s through the 1960s. Some property owners have demolished those original structures and replaced them with sprawling luxury homes that boast over 13,000 square feet of living area.

The Estates' location is close to the Trousdale Estates community, providing convenient access to Beverly Hills flats, including the Westside valley. Residents here will enjoy the massive living space and convenient location to many desirable amenities.

Oak Pass Road

Beverly Hills is home to the famously private Oak Pass Road. The Oak Pass Road neighborhood in Beverly Hills is an affluent, gated residential area located in the North Beverly Park district. The first houses were constructed here in the late 1930s, but the remainder were built in the 1950s and 1960s. Several houses in this development are situated on wide, oversized lots ranging from one to three acres in size, with the enormous high-end homes built on lots containing up to 18,000 square feet of expansive space. Oak Pass Road is well-regulated by local governing bodies to ensure it remains a private place for residents to live.

MountainGate

Within the private MountainGate community, there are three townhome developments. Others include single-family houses, many of which are attached to larger homes and some of which are free-standing. The majority of the MountainGate gated neighborhood is protected by 24-hour guard surveillance, with guards patrolling all communities around the clock for additional protection and privacy. Residents in each neighborhood also enjoy access to a spacious community pool.

Many nearby communities have additional facilities MountainGate residents can use, such as a sports area or tennis courts. MountainGate Country Club has some of the finest golfing in Los Angeles, with two par-70 and par-71 golf courses, a busy social and leisure schedule, six tennis courts, a pub, a snack bar, and a pro shop.

Brentwood Circle

Brentwood Circle, located north of Sunset Boulevard, is a private gated and patrolled neighborhood with 67 luxury residences. Brentwood Village boasts a charming shopping area with fine dining establishments, stores, offices, stunning parks and gardens, and its own post office just a short walk from Brentwood Circle. The town, which is bordered on one side by the Sepulveda Pass and on the other by Brentwood Village, features expansive, upscale homes sequestered away in the California hillside amid impeccable landscape design.

The Getty Museum Trust planned to grow in the early nineties, requiring an immediate access road. Unfortunately for Brentwood Circle locals, the proposed service road passed straight through their peaceful neighborhood. The Brentwood HOA and The Getty Center were able to reach an agreement in 1995, with The Getty Center helping to fund the development of a new gate to better manage traffic flow across the private residential area of Brentwood Circle.

Brentwood Circle now has three gates. Two of them only allow residents to exit, making it easier to get onto Sunset Boulevard. There is only one entry gate, which is staffed by a security officer 24/7.

Mulholland Estates

Mulholland Estates is a residential neighborhood in Beverly Hills, California. It's a prominent, private subdivision in Beverly Hills, just north of Mulholland Drive in the Beverly Hills Post Office district. Most of the residences here were constructed between the late 1990s and the early 2000s, with living space ranging from 4,847 to 11,600 square feet.

The standard size of a double lot is over an acre of land. Mulholland Estates is desirable because of its remote location and high privacy in such a busy urban area. The neighborhood properties have the famous 90210 postcode, giving them a Beverly Hills address. The neighborhood's primary entrance is near Fossil Ridge Park, on Beverly Glen Boulevard and Mulholland Drive, with absolutely stunning views of the San Fernando Valley.

Fremont Place

Fremont Place is a historic neighborhood built on a 50-acre property. Developed in 1911, it's Los Angeles' first gated neighborhood. Like neighboring Windsor Square, Fremont Place was marketed as a tranquil haven with stately luxury homes and remains as such today. Dramatic Greek-revival-style columns frame the entrance to 73 homes, almost all of which have their own history.
