La Habra housing market statistics: As of August 13, 2020 there are currently 75 properties for sale in La Habra listed as active, with an average asking price of $644,325. The highest-priced property is $1,480,000; the lowest priced property can be purchased for $309,000. La Habra neighbourhood listings have an average price of $410 per square foot, based on listings with 3.1 bedrooms, 2.3 baths, and 1,649 square feet of living space.

La Habra Neighborhood Homes

Homes for sale in La Habra range widely. Some historic and charming older homes exist, but there are also a number of newer developments and custom homes. Homebuyers have a range of styles to select from including old style ranches to beautiful Victorian homes. The architecture and features here range widely. Single-family homes are the most common option, but some condos and apartment structures exist as well.

Overall, the real estate market here is moderately competitive. The median sale price for a home for sale in December of 2016 was $505,000. This equates to about $341 per square foot. This community spans some 7.4 square miles, most of which is land. It sits on the border of La Habra Heights to its north and Brea to the east. It is also just outside Los Angeles County, making it a popular, lower costing area to buy a home within the range of commuting.

One of the key facts that makes this city different from others is that it is a community-oriented space. That is, it maintains its small town feel and provides many in Orange County with a place to plant their roots. There are many recreational programs including sports programs and senior programs here. This is a growing city as well.

The La Habra City School District provides educational programs through seven elementary schools and two middle schools. Students attend either La Habra High School or Sonora High School as well. The Whittier Christian High School and a number of private schools exist here.
