The 6-story building is home to 127 condos that range from 690 to 2,050 square feet. This 55+ community offers around-the-clock security services for residents. Each condo unit has its own private terrace, as well as a gas fireplace, gas appliances, washer and drier hookups, and central air conditioning. The condo building allows pets, and Teramachi provides assigned parking spaces within a controlled area.
The other amenities at Teramachi Homes provide many benefits for the 55+ crowd. The building has a beautifully landscaped and shaded courtyard to share social events or relax and watch the fish in the peaceful koi pond. To stay active, there's an indoor/outdoor pool available for residents only, as well as a fitness center and a spa/hot tub. There is also a space for barbecues in the courtyard, and many residents enjoy passing the time in Teramachi's billiard room. Banquet facilities are available for larger events. Sol y Mar is an age-restricted 55+ community located in the city of Rancho Palos Verdes—just west of the Long Beach community and located right off the coast of the Pacific Ocean. The community consists of 60 attached homes situated on 10 acres of green space. Each home has its own attached two-car garage. Golfers who live at Sol y Mar love the community's proximity to two great courses: The Los Verdes Golf Course, which is five minutes away, and Trump National Golf Course, which is 15 minutes away.
Each of the two-story homes in Sol y Mar has an elevator for residents' convenience. The clubhouse is the focal point for most of the amenities at Sol y Mar. It's a great place for socializing and has a catering kitchen that provides frequent cooking demonstrations for residents. There is an outdoor fire patio with a fire pit for more socializing activities, as well as a Jacuzzi for residents only. With 10 acres of green space, there are plenty of walking trails with great views of the ocean on the property. Sol y Mar also has its own fenced dog park for residents. Five Knolls is a private, gated 55+ community located in the city of Santa Clarita, CA, next to the Santa Clara River. Santa Clarita is one of the northernmost suburbs in the Los Angeles area, located just north of the San Fernando Valley. The Five Knolls community consists of one- and two-story family homes with attached garages. The community has 140 homes inside the gates, and all prospective owners must be over 55 to apply to purchase one of them.
Many of the amenities at Five Knolls are available at the Club House, including an outdoor swimming pool, a sunbathing area, and covered cabanas for enjoying a picnic lunch in the shade. The Community Centre inside the Club House offers frequent activities and events for residents. There is also a fitness center and a whirlpool spa available.

Verano at Aliento is a planned 55+ community located on the south side of Santa Clarita, and the single-level homes were built in the foothills next to the Golden Valley Ranch Open Space. As a result, many of the homes offer spectacular views of Golden Valley and the rest of Santa Clarita.
The Club at Verano is the site for many of the community's best amenities. The fitness center and pool are located there, and The Club has card tables inside for bridge nights. The Terrace has a lap pool, an outdoor barbecue pit, bocce ball courts, another fitness center, a catering kitchen, and a large grassy park.
